While I was getting into the pathos of the person in the poem and was ready to shed tears, and settle for - yeah! that’s it. there is nothing more left in life - the person turns tables on me and surprises me in the penultimate verse - Hey! I still feel young. My desire and lust had not died .
And I perk up saying “what!” and read on.

Then he really kicks butt in the final stanza making God wait around for him, while he makes no bones that he is surely never going to change.

At that time, I just grin and grin thinking of అజామిళ the unreformed sinner, into whose hands some నార and అణా are pushed in, by people eager to send him to heaven, and try to make him utter నారాయణా!
Good poem. Smart poem. I love this spunky poem.

బావగారో మంచి బాలుడనుకునే మరదలు అన్న వాక్యంలో బాలుడు అనే మాట కంటే పురుషుడు/భర్త/మగడు/వ్యక్తి అంటే బాగుంటుందేమో. ఆ సంభోదన మరదలి తరపున అంత ఉచితంగా అనిపించటంలేదు. (బహుసా మీరు రాముడు మంచి బాలుడు అన్న రీతిలో చెప్పాలనుకుంటున్నారా)
